The Corcoran Group specializes in the more exclusive brand of real estate. As such, a more exclusive brand of photography makes perfect sense. In her latest ad campaign, Annie Leibovitz shot numerous well-known talent in the fitting nature of their own homes. Dubbed, "Live who you are," the campaign centers around the idea of finding a home that perfectly complements your lifestyle. The spread between Jimmy Buffett and Tyson Chandler doesn't even begin to cover the variety of personalities in the new campaign that highlights some of the best-suited East Coast properities.

The Victoria's Secret Catalog: Then and Now

For many, it's a coffee table staple to browse and shop with, or simply to gawk at. To several photographers I know, it is eagerly awaiting the latest Victoria's Secret catalog so they can scour the images for inspiration. If you ask most glamour or boudoir focused photographers what they cite the most as their image making inspiration, the Victoria's Secret catalog comes up just as often Playboy, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and even Sue Bryce. And for good reason; it is generally very well done, and tasteful.

Fstoppers Original: Success in Photography

This year Patrick and I were invited to Gulf Photo Plus in Dubai to film a behind the scenes look of what it's really like to go to this exotic workshop. The experience itself was one of the highlights of my life but the most memorable moment for me was the few minutes I had with each of the instructors. I decided to interview them about the pitfalls of their careers and what it takes to become successful as a photographer.

Bulletproof Backup Strategies For Digital Photographers

As your photography archive grows, so does the need to handle and protect that data. What happens if your computer doesn’t boot, or an image file won’t open? What if your home or studio gets robbed, or worse, catches fire? What if your backup drive fails, or your laptop gets stolen? These are all questions I ask myself when planning my backup strategy.

Six Investments To Level-Up Your Commercial Photography Business

Throughout the course of my creative career, I’ve overdrawn my bank account a lot, shed tears over stress, and stared in the mirror for hours in dejection. I’ve made my share of professional and personal mistakes and certainly learned the hard way from all of those choices. I’ve lost, I’ve won, I’ve sacrificed, and I’m blessed to have earned.

Use These Weird Lighting Tricks to Add Motion Blur to Your Photos

Holy butts. Sometimes the fact that I'm an artist and I'm allowed to get weird slips my mind. I don't have a boss, I'm allowed to create what I want, I'm allowed to try new things for the sake of playing, and I'm even allowed to start a blog post by saying "Holy butts." That rocks.
