How to Color Grade a Photo in Lightroom

You might think that Photoshop is the place for serious color grading work, but Lightroom can accomplish quite a bit, particularly with its new, upgraded color tools. This great video tutorial will show you a variety of tips and techniques for color grading images using Lightroom.

Coming to you from Signature Edits, this fantastic video tutorial will show you how to color grade your photos using Lightroom. Lightroom's new tools definitely offer a lot more power and precision than its past features, and you can take color work a lot further nowadays, making it easier to finish images without jumping over to Photoshop. Color grading is often one of the most overlooked parts of an edit, but it is an excellent way to add your personal touch to an image and to bring out whatever mood you are trying to convey. Just be sure to use a subtle touch with it; it is easy to dial in a load of color toning quite quickly, and as a result, it can be very easy to accidentally go overboard with it. Be sure to use a light touch and double-check your work. Check out the video above for the full rundown.

I watched it all and found this useful. However, 2 points:
* if there are 3 ways of doing something - and this applies to just about everything in Adobe products - show just one and mention that there are others - demonstrating every one shows you know your stuff but is just confusing;
* when you start on a new section, circle the key button a few times rather that hitting it and moving on in half a second.
