I've always been very slow and methodical when it comes to posing. Each angle is adjusted; every minutiae is considered. Sure, it may take a little longer, but it's worth it for the shot. After watching these videos, though, I've begun to think I've been doing it all wrong.
We're always talking about improving efficiency and time management in photography, whether that be through our post-production workflows, our on-set setups, or other little life hacks. These photographers are taking efficiency to a new level, however. In the above video, Model Filip Timotijevic powers through an impressive 25 poses in 29 seconds. Frankly, he was so methodical that the recycle beep of the flash began to sound like trance music after a few shots. One has to wonder what sort of hourly rate that works out to for him!
In the below video, Jonyehsi Studio works through 50 poses with 2 models in just 57 seconds. Obviously, in both these videos, the models are pros and there is some preplanned coordination, but nevertheless, the precision and efficiency they show are highly impressive. One has to wonder what sorts of tricks these photographers have up their sleeves for post-processing!
