Cambo recently announced a new lens adapter for Fuji's GFX 50S medium format camera, which will allow full-frame Canon EF lenses to be mounted on the camera.
The Fuji GFX 50S looks to be an absolutely beautiful camera, though just like with any new system, we'll have to wait for the lens lineup to fully round out. This interesting adapter from Cambo will help to ease that transition, however.
The first thing you're probably wondering about is image circle coverage. While they've not given a complete list, Cambo has noted that the EF TS-E 17mm f/4L and EF TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II both have very large image circles that will cover the 33x44-millimeter sensor and allow movement, which should make architectural photographers very happy!
The adapter does not allow autofocus or EXIF data transmission, but it does control the aperture electronically via the dial, while the OLED screen displays focal length and selected aperture. A release date has not yet been announced, but we'll update this with an order link when it is.
