Lakeside Meditations (Linhof 617, Fuji Velvia50)
This was shot in Lake Tahoe, California. The rain had just started falling and I had positioned my tripod in the water to get as low as I could to the scene. I was basically sitting/prone on a rock but the tripod wasn't stabilized as much as I would have liked so I feel like I struggled with some sharpness in the distance. Velvia film can really push magentas to absurd levels, especially if you're already dealing with a colorful scene and that shows through in the distant mountains which I chose not to color correct.
I'll be returning to shooting here in the coming weeks, I've taken a lot of time off to handle some medical concerns. I would very much welcome feedback. I shoot primarily in the panoramic format on a camera dedicated to that crop.
