Unlike a lot of Europe, power lines in the United States are almost always above ground, and that can be annoying and ruin what otherwise might be a great shot. Luckily, for the most part, they are not particularly hard to edit out of an image, and this helpful video tutorial will show you how to quickly take care of them using Lightroom.
Coming to you from Anthony Morganti, this awesome video tutorial will show you everything you need to know to quickly and easily remove power lines from an image using Lightroom. Even out in the country, power lines across the frame is an issue you will frequently need to deal with, but thankfully, for the most part, it is not particularly hard to take care of them, especially if they only cross the sky or some other relatively uniform area of the image. On the other hand, if the power lines cross something with a complex and nonuniform texture, such as foliage, or there are also power poles in the shot, you may want to consider adjusting your composition to save yourself a lot of potentially tedious post-processing. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Morganti.
