Greenwich Point, Connecticut, is a place of simplicity ... a place to stand on the beach all alone, watching the sailboats in the distance across Long Island Sound, feeling the sun and the breezes and the joy.
This image is a (copyrighted) digitally hand-painted version of the photographic image "On A Clear Day" which is also available here. "Greenwich Point" is a companion piece to "It's All Yours" ... a closer look at the bench, just visible on the other side of the shed. While my intention was to create "Greenwich Point" in an identical style to "It's All Yours" sometimes the images themselves dictate otherwise ... so you may notice more attention to detail and less impressionistic freedom in the brush work.
Original photographic image taken with the Nikon D7000 and the 18-200mm Nikkor lens on May 31, 2014. Much tinkering in Corel Painter 11 and Photoshop CS6 (NOT the cloud).
