Entering the Green room

Afternoon light penetrating the lush green canopy of the Hoh Rainforest on Washington's Olympic Peninsula.
Before moving to the Pacific Northwest from Utah a couple years back, I had never seen so many shades of green! The Hoh is 1 of 4 rainforests on the Olympic Peninsula and has been named a UNESCO world heritage site for its unique eco system that has remain unchanged for thousands of years. Photographing a wild forest like this can be challenging, but I felt shooting between these two trees simplified the shot and pulled focus towards my subject.
This is two shots with two different focal points blended together for DOF.
