Imagine a 650 horsepower Chevrolet Camaro speeding through the desert, ripping up the windswept sand, stirring up its own personal sandstorm. I attempted to realize this vision with a miniature Camaro, 10lbs of sand, a few bags of pebbles, and some dry ice. After about 300 shots and 6+ hours of experimentation, I carefully curated 22 of the best images and began to blend them together. For the background, I created a composite of a few of my images I had taken at my local beach on a previous shoot day to create an expansive, sun-kissed desert landscape. More experimenting and 4 hours of photoshop work later, my initial vision was realized.
