Autumn at the Plitvice Lakes

For centuries, nature formed shallow basins which have been filled with water. The lakes of Plitvice are a result of century-old processes and the sedimentation of chalk, which is abundantly available in the waters of this karst area, and which are called tufa or travertine.
When I made the plans for visiting Croatia first and most important to me was Plitvice Lakes National Park so I ended up planning 3 days there. Only after visiting the park I found out that I needed more time to catch all the beauty in the best light conditions, so it will definetly make room for a new adventure over there. Enjoy!
