A few weeks each winter the sun sets directly behind the Keyhole Arch at Big Sur’s Pfeiffer Beach. The unique view in those short weeks can only be described as magical. Each night, just before the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, a solitary beam of light illuminates the rocky foreground producing a vibrant light that radiates over the water.
