Northern Madrid is historically snowy in winter, particularly in Rascafría, but last winter, as the one before, snow has been a little scarce (climate change y'all), but I had this shot in mind, and I wanted to make it come true. I checked the weather forecast as well as local webcams for a few weeks until the conditions were just right. I left early in the morning with a couple friends, and finally got my shot! Also got covered in snow and mud, I didn't have snow shoes. Still worth it.
30 second exposure using NiSi V5 Pro 100mm filter holder system with their ND64 square filter and a CPL to eliminate reflections from the water. Edited in Capture One 12 and fine tuned in Photoshop.
