I learned to print negatives and process my own film when I was 10. In high school I bought my first Nikon SLR and three lenses. I shot rolls and rolls of film and spent hours in the darkroom my dad built in our house.

Then, I went to college and bailed on photography all together.

For three years I worked in photo labs processing and printing other people's work to help pay for school, but I rarely picked up a camera to shoot. I studied graphic design and became an advertising creative director and digital designer.

Slowly, over the years, I've returned to photography. I started with simple street and documentary-style work that captured what was going on around me, but now I'm moving on from that and working to actively capture original moments that I've created.

The main themes that run through all of my work are "truth" and "beauty". That's what I look for in life everyday and what I aspire to discover through the lens.
