Luís Belo on Fstoppers

I was born in the winter of 1987. As a child, I wasn't as curious as I end up becoming. At the time I settled to a few friends and a couple of playgrounds, much of them invented.
Growing up, drawing became more serious, people seemed to appreciate it and I loved to paint. Later I found photography, I could capture the world around me with ease and I started to squinting my eyes looking for that special moment. Years later I ended up graduating in the field.
My curiosity for image made me continue to explore. Print and web design, as well as video are current favorites of mine. I have also been involved in organizing and promoting cultural events, most of which related to a second-hand bookshop where I also worked.
Having my work recognized and awarded in several competitions gives me the strength to keep looking for something captivating and original.
